Waterfront Airport Hotel in Mactan, Cebu joins Davao in celebrating Davao City's annual biggest event, Araw ng Dabaw, with a special Food Festival at their Cafe Uno. The buffet highlights the culinary specialties of Davao City like Sinugbang Panga, asadong alimasag, sinampalukang manok, and mouthwatering durian-flavored ice cream, pastillas and pie. This will run till March 21, 2009.
Davao City is known as the melting pot of diverse cultures but what is really reminiscent to Davao is its mouth watering Durian fruit. Durian is known as the "King of Fruits". Some people say it smells like hell... but for me it's so aromatic that the minute I smell a hint of Durian, I just cant help but get my hands on it. The pulp itself taste just like heaven... yes, just like heaven... Yummy!!
